My parents took me to the dermatologist when I entered into my senior year of high
school. With graduation, prom, senior pictures and college quickly approaching,
they knew I didn’t want my face to be a problem or distraction. My dermatologist
gave me a sample of Differin Cream, 0.1% and it has altered my life forever. Thank you!
I have been using Differin Gel for 5 years now, and I have noticed a huge difference.
Before going to the doctor, I tried every over-the-counter treatment possible and
nothing worked. Although I still have breakouts, and the doctor also prescribed
other treatments, Differin Gel has helped keep my acne at bay and has continued
to work all these years.
My 15 year old son developed a terrible case of acne last year. We tried over the
counter medicines for 6 months, and that was a mistake. He got worse. He used an
over-the-counter product (another big mistake) for three months, and things only
got worse. Finally, we went to a dermatologist last August (2006) and he started
using Differin. Within three months, he only had acne “scars”. He does have a face
full of red marks and scars, but those are slowly fading. We think Differin is a
miracle drug! He has no acne!
I am 22 and have never dealt with true acne growing up, but recently I have had
many breakouts due to stress. The pimples were all over, and they hurt. I used over
the counter treatments but nothing worked. So for the first time in my life I went
to a dermatologist. He prescribed Differin gel 0.1% and after a week I noticed my
face clearing up it’s only been two weeks and my face looks great! My skin tone

Important Safety Information
Differin® Lotion 0.1%, Differin® Gel 0.1%, Differin® Cream 0.1% and Differin® Gel, 0.3% are indicated for the topical treatment of acne vulgaris in patients 12 years and older. Apply Differin® products to affected skin (face, trunk and other areas of the body affected by acne) once per day avoiding the eyes, lips and mucous membranes. The most common side effects reported with use of Differin® products include skin dryness, redness, scaling, stinging and burning. Most adverse events reported were mild to moderate in severity, occurred early in treatment and decreased thereafter. With use of Differin® Gel 0.3%, side effects may also include general skin discomfort, itching and sunburn. Excessive exposure to sunlight and sunlamps should be avoided during treatment with Differin® products, and use of sunscreen products and protective clothing is recommended. Concomitant use of drying or irritating topical products (like products containing resorcinol, salicylic acid or sulfur) should be used with particular caution. Do not apply to areas that have been depilated with wax products. Differin® products have not been tested in pregnant or nursing women, or with the elderly.
